Within the field of pipeline laying without trenches (Horizontal Directional Drilling, HDD) the STREICHER Group of Companies with its subsidiary DrillTec GUT GmbH Großbohr- und Umwelttechnik is established world-wide.

The long and international experience of the DrillTec personnel makes it possible to execute major projects with diameters up to 1,400 mm or drilling lengths up to 3,000 m successfully even under most difficult conditions regarding technology and climate.

The often extensive projects are planned and executed mostly within the scope of EPC-contracts.

When carrying out

  • offshore connections
  • outfalls
  • crossings

DrillTec resorts to its own drilling rigs with tractive forces between 40 and 350 tons.

For the most part these have been designed and manufactured by the drilling technology department of the parent company. Any maintenance and service work is also done by that department.

Aside from the use for own projects, DrillTec also offers the possibility of rental of drilling equipment including operating personnel to its international customers.
