STREICHER Drilling Technology at the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary
From 12th June – 14th June 2012 STREICHER Drilling Technology is presenting their latest innovations in technologies, products and services at the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary/Canada (booth: # 5505). For more than 40 years, the Global Petroleum Show has been known as the worldwide leading exhibition in the energy sector – particularly in the oil and gas industry. The business activities of STREICHER Drilling Technology comprise the design, engineering and construction of vertical drilling rigs for exploration and wells for oil, gas and geothermic energy, as well as horizontal drilling rigs for laying trenchless pipelines. Around 2.000 exhibitors will present their innovations to international industry professionals this year. 60.000 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition.
STREICHER awarded by „Umweltpakt Bayern“
For twelve years MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA has been member of the “Umweltpakt Bayern”, a voluntary agreement between Bavarian businesses and the Bavarian state government for the protection of the environment. On 23rd March Dr. Marcel Huber, minister for the environment, assigned MAX STREICHER for its long standing commitment in the “Umweltpakt Bayern”. “Those saving energy and recycling raw materials, protect the environment and save costs”, he said at the welcome in the accommodation of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Passau. In addition, STREICHER’s commitment for the protection of the environment also concerns the search for opitimized, environmentally friendly techniques as well as the adoption of renewable energies. This is shown by the fact that some office buildings are heated by geothermal energy. At the moment the “Umweltpakt Bayern” has 3,400 member companies.
Major project: new loop line near Schwandorf
OGE Open Grid Europe awarded a contract to MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA regarding the construction of the natural gas pipeline SDW (Schwandorf-Windberg). The pipeline, having a diameter of DN 1000, runs parallel to the existing MEGAL-pipeline. Amongst others two culverts are layed on the 72 km long line from Schwandorf to Windberg one of them crossing the river Naab another crossing the river Regen. The construction works began in March 2011 and are planned to be finished in November 2012.
STREICHER at IFAT 2012 in Munich
From 07th May to 11th May 2012 the STREICHER Group presents itself at the IFAT ENTSORGA in Munich, hall B6/booth # 207. IFAT is the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management.STREICHER’s presentation focuses on the division of local network construction with topics like horizontal flush drilling, near surface geothermic wells or trenchless piping systems layed by a conventional torpedo plow as well as on services which are closely related to the sectors named.At about 215,000 m² more than 2,800 exhibitors from 49 countries present their environmental technologies which are planned to offer the solutions for the challenges of tomorrow and give the experts the opportunity for detailed discussions.Our team is looking forward to your visit in hall B6/booth #207.
