Optimized traffic routing: MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA involved in reconstruction of motorway interchange Neufahrn

For a while traffic between Munich airport and the city of Munich mostly runs without any trouble. The so called “Overfly” makes it possible. The direct ramp is part of the reconstruction of the motorway interchange Neufahrn. Since August 2010 STREICHER works on the lots 3 and 4 and is responsible for the main part of the earth and pavement works. The company builds the new connection point “Eching-Ost” as well as a parallel road to the “Overfly” and is responsible for further reconstruction works at the motorway interchange. The double-tracked direct ramp directly connects the airport with the city of Munich and therefore bypasses a lot of traffic from the A92. At the moment 25,000 motor vehicles a day drive from the airport to Munich, and the trend goes upward. Up to now this traffic volume crossed with the traffic at the A9 Nuremberg – Munich and with the traffic Munich – Stuttgart. In the future the traffic leads from the airport intersection-free to Munich and does no more interfere with the traffic at the A9 – a traffic relief and more safety for the drivers. The works are planned to be finished until the end of 2011.
