Construction of gas pressure regulating and metering stations for natural gas terminal Lubmin 2/Germany

On behalf of Gascade Gastransport GmbH, STREICHER Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG in a joint venture with PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH carries out two new gas pressure regulating and metering stations for the natural gas terminal Lubmin 2 at the Baltic Sea.

metering stations for natural gas

STREICHER’s scope of service includes the construction of the measuring sections Lubmin 1+2 as well as the respective E/I&C and analysis buildings, the distance rings Lubmin 1+2, the piping for the sector heating gas, the piping of the compressed air system (180 bar) and the gas pressure regulating and metering station NEL.

The natural gas terminal in Lubmin near Greifswald is the essential interface between the offshore pipeline Nord-Stream and the two connecting lines OPAL and NEL transporting the Russian natural gas to the European customers. The reason for the extension of terminal Lubmin is the further development of the European and German gas infrastructure (Nord-Stream 2, EUGAL).
