STREICHER at Oldenburg Piping Forum

The Oldenburg Piping Forum is fix in the schedule of trade fairs of the MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA. This year the meeting of the piping industry takes place for the 28th time already. At the trade fair STREICHER focuses on pipeline construction, plant construction, local network construction, drilling technology as well as on the services closely related to those sectors. From 6th to 7th February it’s all about the future of the pipeline construction at the university of applied sciences in Oldenburg. STREICHER not only uses the Piping Forum at the college of higher education in Oldenburg for expert discussions but also to get in contact with trainees.

Serbian branch office of MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA realises pipeline for J. P. Srbijagas near Belgrade

On behalf of the Serbian natural gas provider J. P. Srbijagas STREICHER installs 32 kilometers of gas pipeline with a nominal pressure of 50 bar southeast of Belgrade. The EPCC project contains 31 road, train and river crossings, the construction of a gas pressure regulating and measuring station as well as modification measures at the existing gas station. The work will be completed in March 2014. To extend the division pipelines and plants in Serbia and the neighboring Balkan States, a branch office was founded in Novi Sad/Serbia in spring 2013.

 

STREICHER Maschinenbau was awarded with the „Siltronic Supplier Award 2012“

Siltronic, one of the world market leaders for wafers made of pure silicon and partner of many chip manufacturers, has awarded STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG with the „Siltronic Supplier Award 2012“. The prize is awarded to suppliers for special services every year. Customer satisfaction, quality, technology and service are the decisive criteria for evaluation. The best overall assessment over all criteria received STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG for the year 2012. The company supplies Siltronic among others with floating zone plants for the production of crystals for energy applications.The prize was awarded during the Supplier Day in Burghausen on November 12th and 13th, 2013. About 150 representatives of 100 suppliers took part in the event. The focus of the Supplier Day of Siltronic was the intensification of the business relations.

Renewal of the east apron at Munich airport

The consortium STREICHER-BERGER was commissioned to carry out the renewal of the east apron at Munich airport at the beginning of April 2013. The apron to be replaced includes parking positions for airplanes and comprises an area of approx. 76,000 m². The area will be renewed in two sections: Section 1 contains the construction area 3 with taxiway D 3. This area was already handed over to the client on 31.10.2013. Section 2 includes the construction areas1 and 4 and will be completed at 31.10.2014. The order covers all demolition work, the construction of drainage channels, the cable engineering and the duct systems, the aviation fuel supply system as well as earth and surfacing works.

Subsequent order for modified Microtunnelling of the MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA

The MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA carried out four crossings in the trenchless microtunnelling method within the work at the MIDAL-Süd Loop. For the crossing of the motorway A 66 and the country road 3372 located behind the motorway STREICHER used a special solution. The total drilling length of this crossing was 116 meters. Reinforced concrete pipes with a length of two to three meters are normally used within the microtunnelling method. The pipes of the MIDAL-Süd Loop have a length of 18 meters. To reach a corresponding shot length, the press carriage was modified and the start excavation adapted accordingly. After the successful use of the new microtunnelling rig on the STREICHER building lot the company was commissioned with another two crossings on the neighboring building lot 2 of the MIDAL-Süd Loop. These two drillings with lengths of 88 and 107 meters are also carried out with the modified microtunnelling method. It is planned to complete work in October 2013.
