A modern bridge was recently completed in Dingolfing, which is an example of the successful cooperation between the bridge construction and civil engineering divisions of MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA and STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG. The close cooperation enabled the highest quality standards in production and assembly and now offers pedestrians and cyclists a safe and comfortable connection through the city.
The new steel arch bridge, with a length of 22 metres, a width of four metres and a height of 3.7 metres, has a total weight of around 35 tonnes. The finished steel superstructure was delivered in October. The completion of the connection areas then took around five weeks, so that the bridge could be opened to traffic on 17 November 2025.
The project demonstrates in particular how such close cooperation enables the highest quality standards to be achieved – and can thus make a valuable contribution to improving the quality of life in the region.
