Energy Supply of the Future

MAX STREICHER Anlagentechnik focuses activities on power plant strategy.

Power Plant Strategy

The planned exit from coal will result in the conversion of old coal-fired power plants and the construction of new ones: in future, they should all be powered by more environmentally friendly natural gas and hydrogen.
For MAX STREICHER Anlagentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, this development represents a major opportunity.
STREICHER is certified by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). Only companies with this certification are permitted to plan and construct large gas supply facilities in Germany.

For example, conversion work is currently being carried out on the Altbach and Heilbronn coal-fired power plants for EnBW. In addition, gas supply lines have been installed for new peaker gas-fired power plants and implemented in base load power plants with district heating extraction.

The conversion of power plants often involves more than just retrofitting a gas turbine. STREICHER combines the necessary expertise in pipeline and plant construction and electrical engineering.
This enables STREICHER as a group of companies to utilise its expertise in a wide range of relevant areas and, if desired, to supply everything from a single source.
