The fuel gas supply system has a capacity of 24 kg/s natural gas mass flow, which corresponds to a fuel output of approx. 1,200 MW. The nominal diameter of the system is DN 300, the design pressure 70 bar. In addition, the system is designed for a hydrogen content of up to 20% (vol.).
This conversion from coal to gas as a fuel is referred to as a ‘fuel switch’.
With successful projects such as these, STREICHER is currently establishing itself in a growing, Germany-wide conversion market. Close cooperation within the STREICHER Group is an important factor in this success.
