It is the world's first fully electric rig in its class. Its electrification offers numerous advantages compared to conventional systems – for example, reduced CO2 and noise emissions and improved energy management, including the recovery of excess energy.
Its electrification means that it combines all interfaces for digitalisation and energy supply, making it future-proof. In addition, it is particularly low-maintenance and a boost function allows its performance to be temporarily increased when required.
This makes the HDD20-E particularly versatile. Another contributing factor is that the complete HDD-truck – consisting of the HDD20-E drilling rig, mixing truck with energy generation and low-loader trailer – enables flexible and uncomplicated use of the equipment on short-term construction sites without extensive preparation.
