Within the modernisation especially a reduced fuel consumption due to the change of engines was obtained and an intuitive operation system as well as an overload warning system was installed. Therefore the jury was convinced by the resource conservation (more sustainability), the positive impact on the work environment and the improvement of labor protection.
The IPLOCA Health & Safety Award, sponsored by TC Energy, is presented to IPLOCA members who demonstrate significant achievements in this field. The award for the year 2023 was presented during the IPLOCA Convention 2023 in Vancouver.
