The members of the German Bundestag, Nicole Bauer, Thomas Erndl and Muhanad Al-Halak, also expressed their appreciation to STREICHER for their special commitment.
As a result, these members of the Bundestag visited the STREICHER Deggenau site at the end of January 2023 and, as part of a presentation, they initially received general information about the STREICHER Group including its business sectors and in particular about the Deggenau site. All activities within the mechanical engineering business area are bundled there – from classic apparatus construction, amusement rides of the subsidiary ZIERER and modeling and measuring machines from Kolb to equipment technology with electrified construction machines, developed in-house. In addition to these CO2-reducing machines, STREICHER also makes a significant contribution to the security of supply due to measures initiated by the federal government in the field of pipeline and plant construction. For example, from summer until the end of 2022, STREICHER was significantly involved in the execution of the WAL pipeline, which connects the first German LNG terminal on the North Sea with the German gas network.
After the presentation the visitors hada look into individual areas. The guided tour of the company premises with a production area of around 30,000 m² demonstrated the range of services and above all it gave a closer look at the area of the self-developed electrified systems and the Kolb design studio.
We would like to thank Nicole Bauer, Thomas Erndl and Muhanad Al-Harak for their visit and the interesting and open discussions, also about the current challenges of German medium-sized companies.
